Everything about the Journey System, how it works, and what's included. If you don't see your question here, email hello@pada.place.
The Pada Journey System is a collection of 7 evidence-based digital guides covering preparation, session support, and integration for psychedelic experiences. Over 600 pages of worksheets, safety protocols, and practical frameworks grounded in harm reduction and clinical research.
Built for people doing this outside a retreat or clinical setting, including:
- Solo journeyers preparing alone or with one trusted person
- Research-oriented people who've read a lot but still don't feel ready
- Couples exploring connection and intimacy together
- Anyone interested in microdosing with a structured framework
- People who value evidence-based guidance over spiritual speculation
The underlying research is publicly available. What you can't find is a complete, organized system that synthesizes it into step-by-step guidance with worksheets, checklists, safety screenings, and integration tools. We spent hundreds of hours doing that synthesis so you don't have to.
Most free resources focus on just one piece (preparation or a basic overview). The Pada system covers preparation, session navigation, and integration as one framework.

The guides take a substance-agnostic approach with substance-specific sections covering psilocybin, LSD, MDMA, ketamine, and others. Core preparation and integration frameworks apply broadly, with tailored guidance where substances differ meaningfully.
Most experienced users find the most value in the integration material. Even people comfortable with the experience itself often lack a structured approach to making sense of it afterward. The Integration Blueprint alone is 130+ pages for exactly that.

Yes. When we update the guides based on new research or community feedback, you get access to the updated versions at no additional cost. The 3 upcoming kits (Disclosure Kit, Session Guidance Kit, and Safety and Contraindications Kit) will also be included free when released.
No. Pada is an educational resource only. We provide evidence-based guidance on how to prepare for and integrate psychedelic experiences, along with safety protocols and harm reduction information. We do not sell, provide, or facilitate access to any controlled substances.
Testing any substance before use is essential for safety. We recommend reagent testing kits from reputable harm reduction organizations. See our Resources page for partners including DanceSafe, Bunk Police, and Miraculix.
No. The Pada guides are not a substitute for professional therapy or psychedelic-assisted therapy. They complement personal exploration and provide structure for solo or partnered experiences. If you're dealing with significant trauma or mental health concerns, we encourage working with a qualified professional.
The Foundation Kit includes grounding techniques and emergency protocols to help you stay centered. For additional support, the Fireside Project offers free, confidential peer support by call or text at 62-FIRESIDE (623-473-7433).
Ideally some foundational knowledge about psychedelics, their effects, and how to prepare. The Foundation Kit covers all of this, including set and setting, dosing considerations, safety screening, and contraindications. If you're taking any psychiatric medications (SSRIs, MAOIs, lithium), screen for interactions using Substancy before anything else.
